LiftIt terms of use (T1)
LiftIt is run by House Hub India, Tadepalli, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh.
What LiftIt does
LiftIt gives you a digital ticket for every consignment: a ticket number, a pickup code, a delivery code, photos at handover and a proof-of-delivery PDF. LiftIt does not issue your tax invoice; your own billing software does. You are responsible for the bill, challan and e-way bill that go with the goods.
Your responsibilities
Give correct details. Raise an e-way bill for goods above Rs 50,000. Do not send restricted goods: scrap, explosives, flammables, chemicals, filled gas cylinders, cash, jewellery, gems, cheques, alcohol, cigarettes, narcotics, animals, perishables or hazardous goods. Keep the delivery code with the receiver only.
Codes and photos
The pickup code proves the goods were handed to the driver. The delivery code is sent to the receiver and proves they were received. A ticket closes only with the delivery code and a delivery photo. Photos and records are kept for 3 years for audit.
Charges
Your first tickets are free. After that, charges are per ticket as shown in your account and are paid in cash for now. Tickets cancelled before pickup get their free-ticket credit back.
Liability
LiftIt's liability for a consignment is limited to the lowest of the freight charged, the value of the goods, or Rs 5,000 for 3-wheeler and 4-wheeler vehicles (Rs 1,500 for 2-wheelers). Claims must be raised within 24 hours with photos. For higher-value goods, insure them yourself.
Drivers
Drivers you add to your fleet must hold a valid licence and vehicle documents. Their documents are checked by the LiftIt office before they are fully approved.
Your data
We use your details to run your tickets and your account. We do not sell them. Driver location is shared with you only while a driver is on duty and carrying your ticket.
